One-stage and Two-stage Models in Brass and Stainless Steel for Regular Lab Purities up to 5.0

Our BASELINE portfolio of regulators was created for regular laboratory gases at purities up to grade 5.0 (99.999%) and gas mixtures with component content at % level. These regulators are ideal when our REDLINE^® premium specialty equipment range is not necessarily required. Like our REDLINE family, all BASELINE products use materials specified to higher standards and tighter tolerances than those required for normal industrial and welding operations. They are designed to reduce system purging times and maintain the required gas quality at the point of use.

BASELINE regulators are available in brass and stainless steel for typical everyday specialty gas applications. The single-stage models are ideal for applications where limited inlet pressure variations are to be expected during the period of use, for gases with low cylinder pressures and for applications where there is further pressure control downstream of the cylinder regulator. The two-stage regulators provide more accurate pressure control. They can thus handle significant inlet pressure variations during use, delivering very stable outlet pressures.

BASELINE Regulators at a Glance

BASELINE^® C 106

This series is especially suited to specialty gases where demands on purity, tightness and safety are high, but somewhere below the level provided by our premium REDLINE range. The family includes both one- and two-stage regulators.

BASELINE^® C 106/1

The C 106/1 is a single-stage regulator intended for primary pressure control of non-corrosive, high-purity or liquefied gases in applications where minor fluctuations in outlet pressure due to diminishing inlet supply can be tolerated. The stainless steel version is suited to high-purity or corrosive gases. C 106/1 can be plain or equipped with a diaphragm valve (type A) or a needle valve (type B). The maximum primary pressure is 210 bar (3,046 psi) and the outlet pressure ranges from 0 bar (0 psi) to 35 bar (508 psi).

C 106/1 cylinder regulators are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) and are suitable for use with FDA GRAS-approved food additive gases and with process gases in pharmaceutical production. These regulators are also compatible with food gas packaging according to the latest applicable European Commission Regulations.

BASELINE^® C 106/2

This is a two-stage regulator targeted at primary pressure control of non-corrosive, high-purity or liquefied gases in applications requiring constant pressure control and delivery regardless of supply pressure variations. The stainless steel version is preferable for high-purity or corrosive gases. C 106/2 can be plain or equipped with a diaphragm valve (type A) or a needle valve (type B). The maximum primary pressure is 210 bar (3,046 psi) and the outlet pressure range extends from 0 bar (0 psi) to 17 bar (247 psi).

C 106/2 cylinder regulators are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) and are suitable for use with FDA GRAS-approved food additive gases and with process gases in pharmaceutical production. These regulators are also compatible with food gas packaging according to the latest applicable European Commission Regulations.

BASELINE^® C 106X/1

The C 106X/1 is a high-pressure cylinder single-stage regulator intended for primary pressure control of non-corrosive, high-purity or liquefied gases or for applications where minor fluctuations in outlet pressure due to diminishing inlet supply can be tolerated. For high-purity or corrosive gases, the stainless steel version is recommended. C 106X/1 can be plain or equipped with a diaphragm valve (type A) or a needle valve (type B). The maximum primary pressure is 310 bar (4,496 psi) and the outlet pressure range goes from 0 bar (0 psi) to 35 bar (508 psi).

BASELINE^® V 106P/1

When carbon dioxide (CO2) or nitrous oxide (N2O) pass through a regulator seat, dry ice can form if the flow is too high, causing the regulator to freeze up. The V 106P/1 electrically heated regulator is specifically designed to prevent these freeze-up problems with high flows of CO2 or N2O. The maximum primary pressure is 210 bar (3,046 psi) and the outlet pressure ranges from 0 bar (0 psi) to 13.8 bar (200 psi).

The V 106P/1 regulator is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) and is suitable for use with FDA GRAS-approved food additive gases and with process gases in pharmaceutical production. This regulator is also compatible with food gas packaging according to the latest applicable European Commission Regulations.
