How Does It Work?
The CRYOLINE PEC is a combined cryogenic pellet and finishing freezer. It works by simply filling the cavities in a belt pre-cooled by means of liquid nitrogen. The extremely low temperature of the belt rapidly freezes the liquid into the shape of the cavity, thereby stabilizing the product before it is released at the end of the belt. The product is then transferred to an integrated CRYOLINE® MT tunnel freezer to complete the process and form a "chocolate bar" of pellets that can be easily separated.
This patented freezer can produce IQF (individually quick frozen) pellets of frozen ingredients such as sauces, purees, soups and other liquid food products. This makes it ideal for processors supporting the food service, ready meal and consumer segments. Highlights include precise portion control, different models for different capacities and the option of customer logo imprints.
