SOLVOX Cone is a pressure dissolver specifically for the oxygenation of freshwater. Various innovative and proprietary design features enable transfer efficiency rates close to 100%. Engineered to increase the concentration of oxygen in water, it is made from corrosion-resistant glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GRP) with high-quality stainless-steel fittings. These make SOLVOX Cone also suited to seawater.

As water and gas enter SOLVOX Cone from the top, the water jet forces the water to mix intensively with the oxygen bubbles. Flowing downwards, the water velocity decreases as the cone diameter widens. Small gas bubbles that are not fully dissolved can rise in the cone against the downward water flow and only water free from gas leaves the cone at the bottom. Since SOLVOX Cone is operated at elevated pressure, the dissolved oxygen concentration can be increased significantly above normal saturation levels.

SOLVOX Cone Booster

The SOLVOX^® Cone Booster is a proprietary venturi nozzle which increases the oxygen-dosing capacity by up to 50%. Undissolved oxygen which accumulates in the headspace of the cone is recirculated to the booster and mixed into the water flow a second time. This keeps the gas cushion in the headspace low and more water can be run through SOLVOX Cone.

SOLVOX Cone Mixer

The SOLVOX^® Cone Mixer is a specially adapted unit for use in combination with our SOLVOX^® Cone pressure dissolver. It returns pressurized, highly oxygenated water from SOLVOX Cone to a low-pressure water flow without the risk of degassing or compromising efficiency. The SOLVOX Cone mixer is specially adapted to each project and can be installed for each individual tank or in a main water supply line for base oxygenation.
