Transport Refrigeration Solutions for Food
Cryogenic Gases for Precise Temperature Control Along the Food Distribution Chain

In-transit Refrigeration for Baked Goods, Dairy, Fruit and Vegetables, Meat and Poultry, Plant-based Foods, Prepared Foods and Seafood
Our cryogenic refrigeration solutions for distribution logistics can help maintain the quality, texture and safety of different foods through precise temperature control. Relative to conventional mechanical systems, our eco-friendly systems also offer carbon footprint, noise, cost-efficiency and ease-of-service benefits.
They contribute to food hygiene in a number of ways, namely by helping to
- control the risk of microbial growth and rancidity in dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt and cream;
- maintain the safety of temperature-critical animal proteins such as fish and other seafood, meat and poultry;
- keep convenience foods fresh right up to the consumer;
- contain bacterial growth and enzymatic reactions in freshly harvested fruit and vegetable;
- maintain the freshness and appearance of plant-based substitutes for meat, poultry and fish;
- enable uninterrupted cooling of bakery products, particularly products with temperature-sensitive additions such as creams or glazes.

How Does Mobile Cryogenic Refrigeration Work?
Our distribution solutions use cryogenic refrigerants such as liquid nitrogen (LIN) or liquid carbon dioxide (LIC). We also offer carbon dioxide snow (CO2 snow). Also known as dry ice, this is made by reducing the pressure and temperature of liquid CO2 till it converts into a clean, white snow. This snow can then be compressed under high pressure to form blocks, slices and pellets.
Because dry ice has no taste or smell, is non-poisonous and non-flammable, it is an ideal and highly effective cooling and freezing agent for perishable produce. As one of the leading suppliers of dry ice, we offer a range of flexible, one-stop solutions that leverage the cooling power of CO2 snow for the refrigeration of sensitive foods in transit. Our dispensing devices are available in a wide range of sizes and types, so there is a snow delivery system to meet your needs.
All of our dry ice products and services comply with the latest HACCP rules and regulations and we are gradually moving towards more environmentally aware packaging options.
