Our LASERLINE portfolio was developed specifically to enhance productivity in laser cutting and welding. It includes laser cutting oxygen, which enables high cutting speeds in mild steel. LASERLINE laser-cutting nitrogen can be used on stainless steel to achieve clean, oxide-free cuts with no change to the material’s corrosion resistance. In addition, specialty gases from the LASERLINE program can boost your productivity when cutting aluminum and titanium.
We work closely with laser manufacturers to ensure that our LASERLINE gases meet OEM purity requirements. Moisture (Hâ‚‚O) and total hydrocarbons (THC) have a significant impact on laser operation. Our strict quality assurance programs ensure tight control over these parameters (down to <5 ppm for Hâ‚‚O vapor content and < 1 ppm for THC content) to meet individual laser machine needs.
Our LASERLINE process gases are used in laser welding, laser cutting, surface treatment, powder coating (as a carrier gas) and beam bath purging. The most common assist gases used for these applications are nitrogen, oxygen, argon and helium.
We provide LASERLINE assist gases in the following recommended purities to help laser processing specialists meet their speed and quality expectations. Supply modes scale from single cylinders to fully automated bulk systems to suit individual needs.
| Oxygen (O2) | 99.95% (3.5) |
| Nitrogen (N2) | 99.999% (5.0) |
| Helium (He) | 99.996% (4.6) |
| Argon (Ar) |
99.996% (4.6) |
We also supply resonator gases, used for creating laser light in CO2 lasers. These resonator gases are available as pure gases for lasers with integrated gas mixers or as premixed gas blends as part of our LASERMIX® offering.
| Carbon dioxide (CO2) | 99.995% (4.5) |
| Nitrogen (N2) | 99.999% (5.0) |
| Helium (He) | 99.996% (4.6) |
