AIROX® combined oxygen and air combustion

The AIROX® burner allows aluminium producing companies to make their production more flexible and adapt it to the continuously changing market needs. Using oxygen or oxygen enriched gases during the melting process and switching over to air during holding times reduces the overall melting costs.
AIROX® enables the furnace operator to quickly change over between firing with all oxygen and operation only with air, as well as all intermediate oxygen-air composition
s.

Benefits of AIROX® in use:
* Productivity increase of up to 35% and more flexibility
* Reduced energy consumption
* Lower emission levels
* Dynamic and simple swithover between oxyfuel and airfuel

The special design of the burner combines a compact size with excellent flame producing properties. As a result, a higher flexibility in melting capacity, lower emission rates, lower energy consumption and decreasing costs are guaranteed. These features are important for light metal foundries, extrusion companies and foil producers who use reverbatory furnaces for both melting and holding.
