The Ovako Hofors works in Sweden recently ordered an additional eight REBOX® oxyfuel solutions for reheating from Linde.
Since 1994, Ovako has implemented oxyfuel to increase capacity, reduce fuel consumption and lower carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. In August 2006, Ovako Steel will convert the remaining soaking pit furnaces to oxyfuel, bringing the total to 48 pit and 2 rotary hearth furnaces using oxygen for optimal performance. |
