Our MAPAX® program bundles a wealth of foodstuff, gas and packaging know-how into tailor-made solutions. It ensures the highest standards by taking the following into consideration:

· the different types and quantities of microorganisms that can occur when handling and processing the product
· the required levels of hygiene
· the delay before packaging
· the temperature
· the properties of the packaging material, e.g. permeability
· the free gas volume within the package
· the gas mixture

To bring you the best MAPAX® solution for your individual application, we do a lot more than supply gases.

MAPAX® solutions are built on close cooperation between the suppliers of the packaging material, the packaging machines and the gases. The purpose of this collaboration is to meet market demands for efficient and cost-effective packaging of foodstuffs, at the same time ensuring consistently high quality of the product as it moves along the entire distribution chain, ending up attractively displayed in the chilled-food counter.

We work closely with food research institutes in many countries, e.g. SIK (Sweden), VTT (Finland), Campden (UK), and have numerous food-processing customers worldwide. Close collaboration with the food-processing industry has helped us to choose the best atmosphere for each individual application.
